Patience And Progress
Each person comes from a unique background that shapes their perspective of the world. Our upbringing plays a significant role; for instance, if you were frequently punished for mistakes but praised for accomplishments, you likely learned to associate mistakes with punishment. Similarly, if you were lauded only when you excelled, you might now be excessively hard on yourself for anything less than perfection.
We think, make decisions, and live according to our conditioning; in other words, we interact with the world around us according to how we learned to process and act on information. This mental programming, formed subconsciously in our developmental years, can persist throughout our lives, for better or worse.
While it's crucial to remember that these patterns greatly influence your life, they are not YOU. You have the power to change them, treat each new day like a blank canvas. You'll still have the same tools and techniques, but now you can start focusing your awarness on what you want to change.
Improving your overall well-being begins with recognizing and understanding these ingrained thoughts and behavior patterns. This introspective process can be daunting and overwhelming but know that it's possible to change and you have the power to do it.
You must understand that most of your behaviors were formed subconsciously, and you're doing the best you can based on your conditioning. You shouldn't beat yourself up for the way you naturally learned to interact with the world. Make an effort to embrace your current self without guilt or criticism.
While it's easy to blame our environment or those who've influenced our development, we need to remember that everyone is shaped by their unique experiences and conditioning. Make an effort to accept that some people are not aware of their conditioning and may never seek change, it is not your responsibility to change them. Your responsibility lies in your actions.
To conclude, be kind to yourself on this journey of self-improvement. It can take years to unlearn and create new patterns, BE GENTLE WITH YOUR PROGRESS.
The process of change can be challenging and unsettling, but also wonderfully transformative, it opens the door to improved relationships, better mental and physical health, and more enriching experiences. You hold the power to develop new, healthier patterns that can drastically enhance your well-being.
Be dedicated to your growth and gentle with your progress.
Wishing you well. ✨
